An interesting reflection of the sun from a window across the street.

Sometimes the photography gods give you a gift. Turned the corner at a mall to find this image waiting for me. The reflection only lasted about 10 minutes and this was the brightest intensity. The exposure is straight out of the camera with no Lightroom adjustments.
Summer will back in a blink of an eye.

More images finishing the visit to the park. My gear for this day was one camera, one lens, and a fanny pack with spare memory cards and spare batteries. I noticed other photographers walking around with backpacks full of equipment and DSLR's. Using a Leica M is so much more enjoyable and not to mention easier on the back. I have a full compliment of Nikon equipment but it has a time and place. For street photography there is nothing like walking around with a Leica.

This is one of those images that makes me wonder about what is not in the image. Looking at the bench there are leaves missing where someone has recently been sitting. I have a photo with someone sitting on the bench and it doesn't have the same feel. I like how the background goes black and of course the glow of the leaves. The tree trunk balances the composition.
Photography is just writing with Light.
Do know what this is? These are reflections off of car windshields and bumpers. I took a few shots and then stopped back about every 15 minutes for a couple of hours while the wife was shopping. No two of the images are the same. I really could have chosen about any of the images because I liked them all. The abstract nature of the image speaks to me because I believe photography is more than straight documentation of a subject.

So often I see images like this with too much vibrancy and saturation. I'm looking at you Outdoor Photography magazine. Just because the slider goes to 100 doesn't mean that you have to use that slider. I love how the leaves are so delicate.
